On behalf of the Board of Directors of the Legal Value Network, we want to share an important update and a look ahead at what’s next for LVN.

The Legal Value Network exists to support professionals working at the intersection of law and business — those focused on how legal services are designed, delivered, and valued. As the legal market continues to evolve — shaped by changing client expectations, new operating models, and rapid advancement in technology, including AI — that work has only become more important.

LVN has always been rooted in the business of law. We bring together professionals who operate beyond traditional practice roles and focus on how legal services are structured, delivered, and measured. LVN is the home for advanced roles across law firms and legal departments, and for those who are helping lead the profession through change.

As a newly seated Board, our focus is on continuity, momentum, and impact. We are committed to building on the strength of the LVN community and ensuring the organization remains a trusted place for connection, learning, and leadership as the profession continues to evolve.

2026: Activation & Action

This year reflects a deliberate shift toward doing. LVN has long attracted professionals who are adaptive, candid, and willing to challenge assumptions. In 2026, we are focused on activating this community through:

  • Programming grounded in real-world experience

  • Deeper peer connection and shared learning

  • Clearer pathways for participation and leadership

The pace of change in the legal market continues to accelerate, and LVN’s role is to provide a trusted space for practical insight, thoughtful dialogue, and collective progress.

We look forward to sharing more in the months ahead and invite you to stay engaged, participate actively, and help shape what comes next for LVN.

With appreciation,

The LVN Board of Directors
