Session Overview:

The legal industry is at a pivotal inflection point as artificial intelligence forces a fundamental rethinking of how legal services are priced, staffed, and delivered.  This work demands more than technology implementation.  It requires a holistic methodology that addresses AI’s broad implications for the law firm business model.  AI has the capacity to accelerate a wide array of legal tasks in a way that directly challenges the relevance of the billable hour and the traditional leverage model.  While most firms acknowledge that AI has the potential to disrupt their pricing and staffing strategies, few have taken a comprehensive approach that reexamines end‑to‑end processes, designs AI-enabled workflows, and addresses the underlying business dynamics.  This session explores that tension head‑on, highlighting how leading firms are integrating legal service redesign with structured change management to progress from AI experimentation to AI impact.
