Legal Value Network took a road trip to Toronto on June 6 for an incredible half-day event tailored for legal service professionals. This valuable gathering was a chance for attendees to connect, learn, and grow alongside their peers.
The day began with a delightful networking lunch, setting the stage for meaningful connections and conversations among participants. It was a fantastic opportunity to meet like-minded professionals and foster new relationships within the industry.
Shortly after, we delved into the enlightening session on the "State of the Canadian Market."
Esteemed presenters, Rob Stote, Managing Director/VP - Profitability Products at BigHand, and Alex Marshall from Blake Cassels, shared valuable insights into the latest trends, challenges, and opportunities that shape the legal operations landscape. Attendees gained a comprehensive understanding of the Canadian legal market, allowing them to stay ahead of the curve.
Next on the agenda was an engaging presentation titled "Improving Client Engagement Through Transparency and Communication Caps." Attendees discovered effective strategies to enhance client engagement by fostering transparency and improving communication practices. One of the highlights of the event was the captivating "Strategy and Profitability Workshop," hosted by Toby Brown, LVN Board Member and CEO of DV8 Legal Strategies. This interactive workshop emphasized the importance of aligning profitability methodologies with a firm's strategic goals. Attendees gained valuable knowledge on how to optimize their profitability strategies to achieve long-term success.
