I can’t think of a better combination than a meetup of good people on a hot summer’s night to enjoy some cold beverages and interesting conversations. That’s exactly what transpired at the LVN Pit Stop events in Houston and Boston! Special thanks to our event sponsor Lotis Blue!
I was pleased to join the Houston crowd at the Heights Beir Garten. 20-plus LVN members enjoyed the LVN Pit Stop sponsored by our friends at Lotis Blue who came in from Chicago.
Houston is one of those cities that draws innovative people across the spectrum and that was on full display as we had attendees from coordinators to chiefs. We even had Jamie Prazo from Perkins Coie come down from Dallas. For those of you not from Texas, that is not a short trip!
It was great listening to the stories from each of the attendees and sharing our own experiences that resonated with many of the others in attendance. I know I was not the only one there to meet someone new and share contact information to follow up with later.
As LVN makes pit stops in other cities across the country, and across the world, I hope that other LVN members take the opportunity to attend these and experience for yourself the joys of meeting others in the industry. Thanks again to Lotis Blue for sponsoring the Pit Stop. It was very nice meeting up with colleagues, old and new, at the event. I hope to see them again when we all head to Chicago for the LVNx 2024 Conference Experience in September.
