The Legal Value Network has a number of open volunteer positions and we are looking for interested LVN members to fill those roles.

 
Apply by Wednesday, October 16, 2023. All submissions will be reviewed by LVN leadership. While we hope to have a position for everyone who expresses interest, there are a limited number of openings. All interested members will be contacted in December regarding your application status. We appreciate your interest!
 

#1 Conference Committee

The Conference Committee will meet monthly for one hour from January 2024 through September 2024. Subcommittees develop their own meeting schedules, which are typically one hour per month during conference planning time (January – September) but may vary depending on the workload. Volunteers are expected to contribute and complete action items outside of meeting times.

Subcommittees:

1. Programming – Support the development of the educational content that is delivered at the conference

2. Sponsorship – Generate leads and help make calls to prospective sponsors

3. Marketing – Provide creative input on efforts to promote the conference, support marketing efforts by sharing on social accounts

#2 Education Committee

Shape Webinars and Special Events

This LVN Committee is responsible for developing ideas for webinar topics, speakers, and content. The Education Committee will meet via Zoom regularly and moves webinar plans forward offline via email. While topics vary, most webinars are planned around Pricing & LPM; Innovation; and Beyond the Technical.

Terms: 1 year | Time Commitment: The Education Committee produces about six webinars per year. On average, it takes about 4-8 hours for the committee to execute one webinar. Most of the committee work is done via email or offline. In addition, the Education Committee gets together via Zoom a few times per year.

 

 

#3 Women’s Initiative Network (WIN) Committee

As with many evolving industries, we recognize there is a gap in promoting women in this space. WIN was created to allow women to connect and support each other in these emerging and challenging roles. Committee members will have quarterly planning calls to outline at least 3 virtual happy hours per year plus the WIN Reception and Program at the LVNx Conference Experience. Help identify topics and discussion prompts for these event agendas. The business of law community includes a wide array of professionals in various career stages in an array of disciplines. The community support we've received has been empoweringly positive - join us to shape what's next!

Term: 1 year | Time commitment: Quarterly calls to plan annual WIN activities. Activities include virtual happy hours (at least 3 per year) and the WIN Program and Reception at the LVNx Conference. The committee identifies topics and discussion prompts for these events and creates the agenda. Meetings are held via Zoom.

#4 LVN Road Trip

The Road Trip delivers half-day events of networking, educational content, and facilitated discussions. Want to join in on planning one of our stops? Apply today! Monthly check-in meetings will likely be scheduled to bring our group together, while the majority of volunteer work will be able to be accomplished offline from December 2023 - July 2024.
